Alright, alright, alright – today’s podcast goes back old school to call out our modern day vanity! Remember that bible king Solomon and his whole “vanity of vanities” spiel? I never really bought into it…until realizing just how right he was after seeing the vain creatures we’ve all become lately! This epidemic of self-importance fueled by social media likes, dressin’ to impressin’, and “keeping up with the Joneses” consumerism has turned us into a land of peacocks parading around for attention! It’s time to stop the madness, people! I’ll channel my inner philosopher comedian to roast our culture’s embrace of excess in a way that will make you think…and laugh! By the end, you may even be inspired to tone down the self-worship, ditch the designer outfits meant for showing off, and focus more on chillin’ like the lilies of the field! Solomon would be proud of my modest suggestions for being more humble and avoiding vanity’s emptiness.
